So Far...

So, Tiff and I have done research about Lock Hydraulic system and we made design plans, diagrams, gifs, and videos. We have the purpose, how the lock works. We started thinking about the materials we need to use and we're going to try to get them ASAP.

We're going to use a big see through tank for our lock system. We are simply just going to put more water on one sector then the other to create different levels of water. But we're not 100% sure yet. We're still thinking of ideas and what to use and how to use materials for the lock system.
We're going to fill the tank with different levels of water, then seperate it using a wall.
We have to use syringes and tubes to transport water from each section of the water to create the same levels of water.
Then finally the boat can travel perfectly!
Thanks to Tiff for the animation design plan.
Now we have to find materials and how we are going to use them. I will post again for more updates!

  1. We're actually thinking of using a aluminum tin, because we need to get the tubes / syringes through. It looks just like this -> |_____| so we are trying to find one with deep depth.
