Drawn Diagram of Lock

This is a diagram that Jisu drew of the lock. Under it, she wrote a brief description for the purpose of the lock and how it works.

Purpose - to help the boat safey cross the water when the water level changes.

How it works - it helps the boat cross the water by levelling out the water. The walls move up or down to match the water and we are using the syringes to transfer water from one place to another to even out the water levels. Therefore the boat can travel straight, smoothly, and safety.
